DHL are a really well recognised brand, both here and overseas. The use of the bold yellow on all of their vehicles constantly reenforces the branding, which is simple and memorable.
Another globally recognised brand, FedEx have undergone several versions of their logo over the years, these days the very simple logo is a household name. A two colour print on white background would also be a big cost saver when printing or decorating vehicles.
You will notice that many of the haulage companies opt for a more simple palette. There is good reason for this. If you are branding an enormous truck, or the side of a boat, having a logo with multiple colours would soon become very expensive. A nice simple logo allows the use of few colours, therefore less cost in terms of print and decoration.
One of our favourite examples of branding on a truck, the Readhead icon is very noticeable and memorable. Simple and to the point allowing easy use of 2 colour when printing.
Another famous brand that has changed over the years. Simple 2 colour again but with a strong background colour, synonymous with the brand, even down to the employees uniform.
Huge scale companies are often the one’s with the simplest logos and branding. Here another monster in the haulage business, but with a very simple design behind them.
Just one colour featured here. Navy, that’s it. All the passer-by needs to remember is 3 simple letters, and 1 simple colour. Simples.
A local example here showing exactly what they do. Shipping, air & land. The name is prominent and what they do is on show for all to see. Very effective.
